Any chance that these companies will be able to produce a new cover by only receiving the old cover and not the whole seat? Living in Europe makes it a bit challenging
Once the first pattern is made and tested on a seat to perfect, they won't need a seat everytime they make a cover.
I just got off some email exchanges with OMP USA in regards to Nomex material. They no longer offer the same exact one that was offered during their production run in the 90's. Exact email response from OMP: "Im not sure we can get the same exact fabric, similar but not exact and even it it was exact you would see the difference between an old fabric and a new one the ideal would be to redo the entire seat " Preserve your original OMP seats while you still can
Oops. Here's another follow up response regarding OMP Nomex. "It’s a little different but almost the same, just better material… Pegasus Autoracing should have it in stock"
