just got word that my supplier can not get the original OMP fire extinguishers that go into the 355Challenge anymore. I will supply Dennises new ride with my bottle but would love to get the OMP in there instead of another brand. Anybody any ideas where to look outside of Europe?
I looked for a while too. Rumor had it that the OMP bottles had problems with flop tubes floping in rollovers so did not work right. Then by the time they were right they had problems with DOT. In typical Italian fashion they said screw america and thus you just don't see them anymore. If there is any truth to the flop tube issue I would never use an old OMP bottle. Also, bottles should be used within sanctioning body date guidelines. Old bottles can be recharged sometimes from different vendors other than OMP. AFF or Fireaid2000 is the magic genie at this time.
