On Aston night at the RM auction in Monterey, is it a party or auction?

Or both? Sounds like there will be a soiree but with time so tight I don't want to go unless it's one helluva wing ding. Is this the first year they're doing it. Are all the exotic car makers going to start doing this at Monterey--having a party and auctio9n exckusive to one brand? I think it's a great idea. Chevrolet should be doing this with the 2020, bcause 63K is lunch m oneyat Monterey, and they could sellsevrral thousand there.
