    Figure 2 shows a comparison of the 4000-400 cm-1 (2.5-25 mm) infrared transmission spectra of a Granny Smith apple and a Sunkist Navel orange.

    I'm not sure about how well these mush balls bounce but I always figured the argument was based on taste. If they want to convince me they need to blindfold a dozen people and have them each taste apple juice and orange juice. When the testing results in a 50-50 odds of the participant getting the juice wrong, let me know.
