featured on a TV show (discovery channel?) where they show it being unearthed in a garage in Sicily, in Italy , for an American buyer, has it ever been announced what Sal sold it for unrestored?
i want to mention this as a great garage find and thought since it was already on international TV (I caught the replay on TV in Manila) it's a well known story I could include in a speech on finding cars. I guess this one comes down to knowing the right mechanic or maybe knowing someone who knew the mechanic. If you catch the replay there's a long discussion on how aluminum oxidizes, I haven't heard this discussed in other restoration stories so far.

...well, buy my book and you can read the story of #2121, the ex-Natale A6G Zagato!

Born without the "double bubble"-roof and later -miraculously- the car had that typical Zagato trademark........

Would you be willing to trade for a new book on Ford called Ford GT40 and the New Ford GT?
Do you have pictures of the car as found? In the TV show they talked a lot about the body parts or trim parts oxidizing into a powder, I haven't heard of this happening to other aluminum bodied cars that much, why this one in particular? Maybe it was parked close to where salt air from the ocean laid upon it every night.
