Not sure if you folks caught the show "On the limit" on Speed last night. Derek Daily tested the 2003 Jordon Ford at Silverstone earlier this year. The show was supposed to start at 12:30 pst. The show was partially bumped as the Suzuka race quali started live @ 7:30-9pm and the race was live from 10pm to 12:45. After watching the race @ Suzuka I caught the rest of the show and it was interesting listening to Dereks comments regarding modern F1 cars and their performance. I'm not sure when it will air again.
That was pretty interesting. I saw it a few weeks ago, and it really does a good job showing how difficult those cars are to drive quickly. Granted, conditions weren't ideal, but even so... Also, did you see "Inside Grand Prix" last night before qualifying? Apparently it's a regular show overseas and it was pretty interesting.
I caught Inside Grand Prix with the Tivo. Didn't watch the whole thing though. It just seemed like one long product placement excersize for Allianz. I can only watch so many slow motion shots of the Allianz banner on the side of a Williams before it drives me nuts. I will say though, that regardless of the quality of the show, I am very glad to see Speed Channel increasing their F1 coverage.
