Display side of the Garage is 30’ deep for 2 bays and 33.5’ for center bay. Total 33.5’ wide on that side of the garage. Daily drive / workshop side is 30’ deep by 22.5’ wide. So cars can stack tighter to fit more or cars can rotate using our dollies and give more walk around room so that it feels more like a museum / gallery. We plan on 5 cars on display side and 2 cars on daily side. That will keep my sitting area in place to relax and be surrounded by cars and the red wall with the tv. Obviously the 20’ truck takes up a bit more space than 355 sized cars so the length affects our stacking. If we add too many more sports cars, we can banish the truck to outdoor parking space. If I can find a decent gig nearby I'm going to move into your garage. It's cooler than my house and there's room for the 355! Seriously, both the design and execution are outstanding; ben fatto.
Out to Ferrari of Scottsdale / Aston Martin to check on Some parts today. They had two speciale’s Robb Image Unavailable, Please Login
Aston came in on the transport late last night. It had rained at pickup so it needs a detail... And had original tires from 2009 so getting new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S this morning. Car is so pretty even before the wash, I had to share a photo. Image Unavailable, Please Login 2009 Vantage with SportShift, all options and the sport pack suspension / lightweight forged wheels. Only 6k miles and basically like delivered from the factory. I pulled fuse 22 so the exhaust has valves open all the time. Ordered a Fabspeed x pipe and 200 cell cats from Mike at Yellow Compass. Thanks for the great pricing and service Mike! This setup should prove very entertaining: This will help it breath better and gain 40 hp and torque. Pipes should be here in a few weeks. Already driven 100 miles.... For anyone on the fence, you owe it to yourself to look into these cars. Perfect complement to an F355. Same size, more room. 2009+ is most refined. SportShift transmission is a lot of fun and similar to 360/430 f1. If you are good with a manual transmission, this setup is smooth and not jerky. The critics obviously don’t realize it’s not an automatic and do not know proper technique.... Manual would also have been great. But I could not pass up this one-owner.... Car is built like a bank vault... Rediculously comfortable.... Car is really fun to drive and already sounds good. Car is fairly fast.... for those speed demons. And it’s not a Porsche. More updates after new tires are added. Happy to see the garage filling up. We still have a Maserati and more F-cars to add. Have a good weekend. Robb
Yeah, you've out-built most dealership-level presentations here. What a cathedral to hands-on motoring. Well done.
Sister thread on the new Aston Martin pickup. I highly recommend this car as a complement to the F355 and 348... or any mid-engine F-car actually https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/on-the-road-again-robbs-aston-martin-adventures.574806/ Robb
