I’m an LSU tiger alum - grew up in Houston - but he is at a great school not that far away. I like most of the Texas schools. Happy Thanksgiving to all the Tifosi! Robb
Working in the garage last weekend. Great times. Used to have a Black with white tail Ducati 749S. The 996 SPS is in the right spot. Robb Image Unavailable, Please Login
And finally the view toward the F355 Challenge with the Aston nosed in. Both the red F355 and Aston are normally facing out toward the doors with their battery tenders connected at the rear with GFI boxes in the floor. Wife's dream car - a Mercedes convertible rounds out this foursome in the slightly longer bay. We could have our own F1 team battles with the top three teams represented. This area could fit two more cars but I like the room to walk around the cars a bit and for my seating area. The Ducati and shelves are to the right of the TV and Mercedes. Looking to add our next F-car. Looking for blue in particular. https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/wtb-ferrari-v8-coupe-only-in-blue-or-off-red.596253/ Robb
Robb, Garage is beyond amazing! Your wife's car wouldn't happen to be an SL would it? I have a 2009 SL65 and it appears to be an SL variant.
2012 slk in silver mist metallic My wife calls it the “green car” I call it “the blue Mercedes” So I’m glad we are in agreement. Robb
In charlotte again for several days of photography of the Bank of America buildings. Last time I was here I missed out on meeting a local 355 owner... But we were able to meet this trip. Had a great visit with Skipp today over several hours and a good lunch. Great guy and enthusiast. His cars were absolutely top notch and immaculate. I’ll try to help him on a future garage expansion. My favorite car of his was probably his 98 f1 but it was a tough call. Too bad the weather was crap so no drives today. My brother was very envious of his Dino. Chillin in the garage watching the formula 1 “Drive to Survive” original series on Netflix. Good behind the scenes for those who like f1. Forza Ferrari! Robb Image Unavailable, Please Login
Robb, I'm in Mesa (again) next week if you care to meet up over coffee. I know you don't know me, but work for the Apache Attack Helicopter program and visit Boeing Mesa often. And again, your garage (temple) is spectacular! -Joe
Joe, Thanks for your kind words. We are right under the (longbow) flight paths and like our Boeing neighbors. Give me a call and we can get lunch and see the cars / garage. Robb 303-883-8359
Robb, You're very welcome and I will call next week after I see what my schedule will be at the plant, but lunch will be very doable and I very much appreciate it. Joe 205-587-2466
Garage? That little shoe box you built? Now here is a garage. 3 stories, computer controlled, brings cars down on a turn table for exhibit, holds 50 cars. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Out today with Rick and his 458 in NE Scottsdale. 75 degrees. What a car! Holy smokes. Crazy fast. Good noises only second to the mighty F355... Very comfortable. Love the model and color. This with an F355 would pretty much set you up for life. Robb Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yeah those wheels have a little more substance than the pointed ones that can appear a little too thin. These remind me of 348/355 wheels. So if I could add a 458, it would be on these rims. Robb
