    I thought I would try something new and start a thread that celebrates things that happened On This Day (OTD) in F1 history. I'll go first and let's keep this fun :)

    OTD in 1997 the closest F1 qualifying top 4 in history took place. I was so taken by the fight for pole that only today 25 years later do I realize how close Hill ran the top three in an Arrows no less
