The two-seater Typhoon multirole jet fighter belongs to the 29 Squadron of the Royal Air Force at RAF Coningsby. ✈ It has a twin-engine and canard-delta wing. ✈ Development of the aircraft began in 1983 and a prototype took its first flight in March 1994. ✈ The Typhoon has a wingspan of 36ft, is 52ft long and 17ft tall. ✈ It can reach maximum speeds of Mach 2 at altitude and Mach 1.25 at sea level.
