I have posted this before, but I am trying to track down the original buyer of a Dino. The Dino is a very late model Dino, light gold with tan interior. The Dino was bought new through Hollywood Sports Cars by a "Major fashion designer". I can't say how much of that is true, but the original owner put around 700-1000 miles on the car before selling it. The owner that bought it after that, is and was from Kentucky. He went to L.A. to pick up the car and drive it back to Kentucky. He owned the car for another 15 years after that. He bought the car from where it was sold new.

I have had no luck in trying to figure out/find out the original buyer of the car. After talking to the "second owner", he would have no reason to b.s. the first buyer into something he wasn't.

My real question is, does anyone know of a late 74 Dino GTS that was sold in L.A. that was gold/tan? For that matter, does anyone have any access to old H.S.C. records?

This info is just for my personal benefit and not anything else.

An aside to the questions, the car appears like the photo below. I have no reason to believe that the mirrors and top were any different when new. i know that the 308 style mirrors weren't on Dino's and the tops weren't painted a color other than black. However, the 2nd owner insisted the car was like this when he bought it in late 74/early 75. I can't imagine why he would insist the car wa slike the photo's and not different, unless it was the case. This has long been a mystery to me. Can anyone help with this too?
