My (new) 355 came with one black fob. Can I get a red one from my local well connected Ferrari shop? This is NOT a dealer.
    Thanx,

The red fob does absolutley nothing more than the black after initial programming of the immobilizer. See the thread in my sig.

Purchase one from Gobble. He will get you the fob and the programing for around the same price as the red one on ebay. Were you to buy the one on ebay you still need to have it programed.

If you simply want a red replacement cover, you can find those on ebay for around $26.

    Dave,
Thank you again. I did read through your entire post before buying - and I retained just enough about the fobs (and other things) to be dangerous. Now I can concentrate on items as they pop their heads up.

    TrojanFan,
As much as I hate to be indebted to a Trojan fan, I guess I am.
Thanx - (Is that spelled the 'proper' sc way?)

MOD please close this thread as I just found one that started 5-29-14. It seems to cover it all.

Proper way would be "Thank$". At least that's how the cal and tree people would do it.

University of Spoiled Children represented by "The Rubber Band" likes to spell it Thank$. OK - Thank$.

(I hate to admit it, but my niece went there and got a decent education.)
