(sorry if this has been asked, searched and couldn't find anything)

If you could only have ONE car to live with for the next 5 years.....what would it be?

One car to satisfy your love of cars, design language, excitement, practicality, reliability, drag you to work, weekend away with the spouse and kids, etc...

    Me: Maserati Quattroporte-S
(Though I am interested to see if the upcoming Porsche Panamera, BMW CS, Jaguar XJ replacement could topple this Italian uber-sedan.)

    Considering I'm 14 and I don't have a wife and kid,

    Lamborghini Diablo 6.0VT

    or

    348 TS

I'd probably go Diablo though, its so damn sexy.

Nothing else comes close IMHO for the parameters you define considering I have 2 kids and need a back seat.

Aston Martin V8 Vantage - great looking, daily-driver capable, amply fast for anything short of track time. (I'm single, so a two-seater works fine.)

    Thanks.
I meant One car only, either Ferrari or most likely none Ferrari.
I doubt very much someone would really use a Mclaren F1 or Enzo as their sole daily driver.

What I am really wondering is there really is a car out there that does "it all" for lovers of fine automobiles, and Ferrari/Italian car afficianados in particular.

M5 is awesome, but doesn't have that raw Italian flair.
AMGs are pretty amazing in many respects.
Porsche may have a contender in the Panamera.
Maser Q-porte seems to hit most of the buttons in one package.
Caddy V-series is up and coming perhaps.
Jaguar wants to be taken seriously again and their replacement flagship sedan with a supercharger may make a splash.
Audi is maybe there as well with S4 and S8.
BMW CS concept is stunning, and if it has a V12 may be the winner.....
I am also partial to the idea of using a 612 Scag as a daily driver with rear seats if friends want to go to a restaurant together or kids, weekend away....
