The seal gray noble and green ultima belong to my friends. both are members on f-chat but don't post very much.
Richard I dont see how they drive that Ultima on public roads it has no ground clearance!!! Very nice track cars.
The guy who owns it, Karl, is an awesome and perhaps slightly crazy guy He is a great guy to hang out with and always has fun in cars! I have as many memories from his race cars as I do from riding around with him in an SUV! His Ultima, although I believe he may still be sorting it, is an INCREDIBLY fast car and he is a very capable driver. I remember being at an event last year where he was turning times slightly quicker than Bobby Rahal when Rahal was driving his Porsche CGT and Karl was in his old Diablo SVR.
I have onelap pics from Tire Rack (south bend, IN) & Autobahn C.C (Joliet, IL) from saturday but havent uploaded yet. thanks for the pics!
Sorry b-mak I got tired of resizing/posting pics. Were you the guy in the suit? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks, Chip D. I think we had the best looking cars this year. Anyone can slap stickers on a car, but very few people will take the time to design a graphics package. Our CLK looked the better of the two. Me in a suit on One Lap? Not a chance, plus I was dressed in Nomex that day. That was my co-driver--he had a seersucker suit tailored just for our day in Louisiana.
I'm actually shocked noone commented on the viper's engine (or lack of). That viper is not all viper and yes it was mean. Best sounding chevy I've ever heard!
