Gents, I tried the general sale section as well as the Rocky Mountain section without success so here I am--probably where I should have started in the first place. At any rate, after having done without a Ferrari for a few years, I'm hankering for one again. My previous ownership includes a 1977 308 GTB and a 1986 328 GTB. I want to buy another GTB, preferably a 308 carbureted, but I can be persuaded to look at other variants. This time around I want nothing but a driver, neither a concours example nor a orphaned project. I'm getting too old to buy a car that's too nice to drive or one that needs so much work that I'll not live long enough to drive it. If you have--or know of--such a car, email me <[email protected]> or PM me and I will respond to all comers. Would really prefer buying from a brother on the forum but I know that some of the dealer sponsors are good guys to do business with so I'm ready for that avenue as well. Thanks to all willing to help in my quest for one last 308.
yes, my county of Boulder in Colorado has emissions, HOWEVER I also own property in Wyoming which does not so registering/licensing it there would be a possibility if I like the car well enough. What do you have?
Call Peter Kumar (Gullwing Motors) and ask him, where my #20405 went...... An early steel car (1976 production) I don't think it's been seen since the sale. Good luck in your search.... The Houston 'glass car at $40K, with the engine blown, (heads, from slipped belt actually) was the last "keeper" I have noted..
