Hmm... that red interior doesn't look as classy as Ferrari red interiors... But seeing a roll cage as I climb in everyday would just be awesome! What a nice car!
i'm fairly certain you are correct, i could be wrong when I said it was stock from the factory... maybe they got around a technicality and a GT3 with RS options is OK in the US?
There was one for sale on eBay last week. The dealership was something like "roads scholars" and I think there site is www.roads-scholars.net or something like that. BTW, anyone see that "Gulf Orange" GT2 on eBay right now? Kind of cool, I think.
I believe that is the only way to do it. The parts are certainly available. I was just wondering if there was a company out there doing the full conversion. ( I have a 05 GT3 on order and am considering converting to RS specs. ) Regards, Chris
well do you know what the difference is between this car and a true RS? there has to be something about the RS that the US doesn't like
i see it, wow... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=10156&item=2489522094&rd=1
You guys are correct...but one is for sale in Autoweek this week for $189,000. It's got all the EPA/DOT paperwork though...so someone spent some dough to get it legal here.
