It is a very sad day at Fire Protection, Inc. today. www.fpiseattle.com Last night one of my long time Service Techs and his 4 year old son were Killed by a Drunk Driver heading the wrong direction on the freeway. He was leaving town with his 4 year old son to go camping east of the Mountains for the Holiday weekend. He was a true hard worker and well liked by all of his co-workers. He started from scratch and had recently made his way to Head Journeyman Installer. He will be grealty missed.... PLEASE GUYS DONT DRINK AND DRIVE
I've lost 3 people I know to drunk drivers and there is never any sense to it... My thoughts and prayers are with the family and extended family at fpi ...
My condolences. I posted this on the other site.......http://www.komotv.com/news/7699387.html As I said on the other site, PLEASE do not get into speculation.
Story makes it sound like it was Roy's employee that was driving the wrong way on the freeway not that it makes it any less tragic. Or am I reading it wrong...daughter is cutting eye-teeth this week so I havn't had much sleep the last few days.
Yes, as we are getting more details from The State Patrol this am, it DOES appear it was my employee in the wrong...STILL a sad day for all...does not make it any less tragic...just a bad situation all the way around.... To add to this tragedy, he had just gained custody of his son from a horrible seperation in the last 6 months.
Condolences to all families involved in this horrible & tragic accident. This is heart-wrenching for anyone involved, and anyone who has kids. If only there was a way to stop drinking and driving. Joe www.joesackey.com
