Just spotted this car on sale here in the UK. It was the subject of a MAJOR rebuild and went as far as taking the entire body off the chassis. Truly a credit to the owner now and i hope for all our sakes it sells at around the asking price. Heres the link; http://www.pistonheads.com/SALES/1465716.htm
No you're right there....she would have it sold soon as if she knew this! Anyway do'nt you recognise whose car this is? When i said "One of ours" i meant that it is a UK F-chatters who recorded a lot of the rebuild on here and i believe was the same person whom once invited you to tea and scones?
I read the write up on rardley motors and recognised the name. All that hard work. Still dont like the steering wheel but it would be a good buy if you had the dosh. Could save a lot of heartache, however it needs more miles on it though to iron out problems........as you are finding out with yours they do need constant fettling Tony
Hi tony yes its mine if it sell all well and good but not too worried if it doesnt. Unfortunately i have some other projects i need too finish. Have driven it quite a few times and it does drive extremely well the steering wheel was originally supplied with the car. Had a few things too sort out speedo cable and little fuel leak otherwise no problems Stephen
Stephen I think the car would be a good buy for someone who wants a instant "concurs" car. The work you and Nerodino did on restoring two dino's was awesome. I couldn't have done it. Please dont take the comments as a knock, they need at least 1000 miles on them to run out minor problems etc. Tony PS still dont like the steering wheel though
