She moved to England when she was 16 years old. I believe 16 year olds are usually Sophomores. So how many years did your friend's brother go to school with her?

I think she stayed in Roscoe through sophomore year. I don't know ill have to ask him. I'll also see if I can upload some pics.

It must of been freshman year actually because she dropped out at 14. I hope him saying she "got around" isn't too serious. Maybe she just had lots of little boyfriends.

I had a wonderful opportunity to meet Denise at a Saratoga Auto Museum function honoring Brock Yates (and again, when she was reunited with the NART Spider, but that's another story.)

After some chitchat, we got to discussing a young lady friend of mine who was a mechanic that had just moved to Charlotte in the hopes of landing a job on a stock car racing team. Denise gave me her phone number to pass along; she was just incredibly enthusiastic to help and mentor a young woman trying to make a career in racing. And she was good at her word.

Such a warm and generous person, who has accomplished amazing things.

Two BIG thumbs up for Denise! Especially since her write up on me in Autoweek!
