    Does anybody know what the one way check valve from the oil filter to the block does?
    It is #42 on the Table #18 on Ricambi's site. I have a 95 F355. Thanks

    Check values are used to allow flow in one direction and not the other...

    That I know. Wondering what is the function of that check valve?

    I figured it out. It is if the filter gets plugged, it will bypass the oil.
