Pachinko is a hugely popular gambling format in Japan, you can kind of describe it as vertical pinball with a slot machine built in, but it really is its own game. This one was licensed by Ferrari to Sanei R&D and the video work was done my Cross Media here in the USA. I got very lucky with this find because Cross Media was getting rid of some of their display units in their office and this unit had never been used in a parlor so it is very minty. The gist of how you play it is that you use a throttle to control balls firing into the pins, the balls trickle down the pins and land in different gates to score different points and start slot machine spins and features. If you have played modern slot machines then you have seen how they incorporate interactive play where the player pics from bonus options or tries to reel in a fish etc. This game has some neat features where you race the F40 or F50 and shift when prompted using the bottom controller to try and win more bonus points. As a Ferrari owner and a collector of pinball, arcade, and pachis this was a perfect find!

That's crazy. I'm only familiar with the old style Pachinko games.
