    I got a few tickets and need to take defensive driving... I need to take the normal course and also a second one to take care of the 2nd citation I got Differed Judification on. Any recomendations? I usually just go take the class somewhere, but for two classes, I would rather knock them out a little quicker online, since I heard you can go at your own pace and do it faster.

    A friend of mine just did it - you can't move at your own pace, you have to spend a certain amount of time on each page. If you spent over that amount of time, it times you out and you have to start the page over again. The short window of time makes it nearly impossible to multitask. It took over a week to complete. He said it would have been better to go somewhere get it over and done with.

    They're all designed to make you spend the same amount of class time as the real thing. I did it online a couple of years ago, basically it was a bunch of bad videos and some multiple choice questions. I did it while watching a series of movies over the course of a few days.

    Not to pry, but are you SURE you need to take the class for the deferred adjudication ticket? I've been on AD many times and never had to take any classes -- basically, as long as I was 'nice' in that jurisdiction for a few months everything was forgiven.

    my wife did it online....I'll find out which one it was....Took her about 8 hours in total(like others said about timed pages and test questions).

    Thaks guys I think I'll go to Ghatti Town and do the comedy DD with a free slice of pizza. There's always a young hottie or two in those classes to look at. Texas law changed a little and you can get diffured judification (or watever it's called) on the second ticket like I did for a 90 day probationary period, instead of the 6 month period, like in the past. Now, they make you take another DD course for it though, or at least thats what I'm supposed to do.... I was thinking about fighting the ticket (mt cop buddy even suggested it), but I was in the wrong and the cop was actually giving me a break for what I did. I should have been in jail and Viper impounded, so I figured I would eat this and just chill with my driving. So much for racing modded Supras with a cop hiding in traffic behind you....

    Yea, I took an online DD class, and won't do it again, much easier to go one Saturday and get it over with.

    FROG buy the DVD from blockbuster.

    It;s 6 hours long, but you don't have to watch the whole thing. At the end of each section (there are 6), you have to log online to take a 3 question quiz about the section. IT is simple and mainly to verify that you watched the section. If you know the title of the section, then you can basically answer any question it asks. Finally, there is like a 20 question final that you need to get a 70 on.....It ended up taking me roughly 4 hours to finish the job :). I highly suggest this way. I've done comedy classes, normal classes, online (3x), etc.

    GF took it 2 weeks ago online. 6 hrs minimum I think. And the videos sucked, lots of reading.
