    I was wondering (after being bombarded with Viagra ads) how are these websites legal. I mean normally you need a prescription to get Oxycontin and the like. How do they work? Do they sell sugar pills? If you get package from them, can't you get arrested?

    They take your money and keep the sugar pills for themselves. There are a few in other countries (where it is legal to do this) that ship meds. You can import a 90 day supply if you have a script. If US Customs catches a package coming in, provided it is not narcotics or otherwise imminently dangerous in their eyes, and the contents are small enough, they may let it through without a big hassle.
