can someone take a look again and report back how many we are behind now? thanks in advance!
Uh oh. a new post to replace the "LOL" & "Wow" tag lines.....the count-down post. Might I suggest we avoid the temptation ????
a year or so ago we had similar competitions, especially since it used to be the area with the most posts got the first slot on the regional area board. end of the day it was pretty much a waste and Rob was not happy with some of the artifical posts pumping up post counts and using up space on the server. If we keep chatting and organizing events we will naturally rise to the top
Agreed. That makes much better sense. If only the ranking system was about quality and not quantity...
I was poking around the SOCAL forum. Lookee what I found http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=21858 sombody has been over there stirring up the pot.
Actually, from my vantage point, it wasn't to create a competition. Just something that I wanted to note, given that as recently as February / March 2004, the New York Tri-State forum was a little sleepy. I think we had a ~1,000 posts (I think!) around then. I'm amazed (and proud) of the fact that we've got a great bunch of regulars, and that we "talk" so frequently. Admiration. Not competition.
who knows... i bet we are all going to go into hiberation while the socal section will be typing away! but all in all... who cares. we are all just having fun.
No wonder the posts are racking up... by the time I finish reading the other topics the ones I replied to are already answered.. ownij!
tell me about it. this morning at starbucks, met a couple of m3 racers heading up to do the friday events at willow springs... the question is to go topless or not... thats what i think about when i am stuck in 405 traffic.
