    We used glue - I think it was the same stuff they use to install windshields. After bending the plate so that it matched the curve of the bumper it has stayed put for quite a while.

    Heavy Duty Velcro will do the job and least damage to the paint!

    there's no reinventing the wheel on this one;

    curved plates here can grant you a ticket (same as no plate)... Basically not allowed to cut,bend,tamper with plate at all.

    There are companies that make them to work with your tow hook... I have it on 2 cars

    The best solution is the printed peel and stick plates that Daytona uses for the customers that don't want to drill holes. They can also install a bracket that fits where the tow-hook would go and then you mount the plate to it. Personally I don't use a plate on the front and have only been stopped 2 times in 9 years and never got ticketed. If I did then I would go with the peel and stick for sure. My sons jetta had his front plate ripped off at Vaughan mills last year. The bracket and plate were lost in the snow and it left 2 1 inch holes where the bracket used to be. Alex at Daytona ordered me a printed copy of the plate and voila....looks perfect and you cant tell the difference outside of touching it. It also covered the holes in the bumper.

    That plate holder is worse then the standard application. You really notice the front plate now with the bracket!!

    I've spoken with a few folks from Ontario and some guys just pay the ticket each time.
    You don't get any demerits and you don't ruin the front of the car!
    I'd rather pay a couple of tickets a year to save the front end of the car!

    It's not the fine that's the problem. It's the 30 mins of your life wasted while you're sitting there getting written up. That may be fine if you're out for a leisurely drive, but not so much if you're in a hurry to get somewhere. After the first ticket, you will be paranoid every time you see a cop, wondering if you are going to get pulled over again. Ask me how I know!

    ROLMAO , come on Saturn ... One would have to have Down syndrome to not make out that plate.

    Good effort though ;)

    its also not that anymore... enough of them stacked will grant you a court summons and good look getting out of that .... depending on insurance companies as well, it still affects insurance but no demerit points are added... same with a 10 over ticket ... check with your insurance company first
