    I am hosting a free of charge barbecue function in late September or early October for the Northern California members to meet and to get to know each other.

    This invitation is open to all members (yes, even you, Rob) to join us.

    The function will be on a Sunday-less traffic, more peaceful, and a great day to have F-cars out.

    Seems most so far have indicated October but that's up to the general group.

    Need help from all intending to come to the norCal gig on picking a date for Sunday Oct 2 or Oct 9 please.

    Some folks are making plans and need a good date.

    Also, if any coming from out of the area, we have many nice hotels and motels in the area, and we can provide that info.

    Come all it will be fun.

    October is great, but I wouldn't be able to make anything until after the weekend of the 9th (or thereabouts). I've got my national board exam in Boston that weekend, and won't be able to do much socialization beforehand. I'd love to come out and meet more of you gents, though... Keep late(r) October in mind!!!!

    We still have time for a date. Please keep responding.

    I am trying to do a few special things for this, and that's why those folks will soon need a date. Also, I have to coordinate with San Ramon Police.

    I'd like as many as possible to come. We can accommodate 50-60 cars easily.

    So, guys, get with it. Plan on bringing your wives, S.O's, girl friends, etc., but John as many as you want. I'll have a few for you here as well!

    Prizes for best car, longest distance, etc.

    Believe me you'll all enjoy the day.
