I had a great time at the Ferrari track day at Waterford Hills MI. last year. The only downside being that I was hoping to see and hear more Ferraris out on the track. The 355 was "on it" though. Gorgeous car.

I wanted to let everyone know that there are a few great ones comming up this year. Most notably the next 3BallsRacing event at Grattan Raceway in Belding Michigan (near Grand Rapids). It's in 1.5 weeks on the 25th and 26th of July. There's only 38 cars registered for Saturday and 19 for Sunday. If no one else registers for Sunday it might be a 2 group day.

So if you're lookig for a very low-key track day,...with lots of track to yourself and lots of run-off area,.....this is it.

    JULY 25 & 26 2009

Pretty cheap at $165 per day,..or $275 for both days,...and that includes the pizza, water and Gatorade they bring in for lunch and paid, professional corner workers.

The registration links are on the right of this home page. Register for either day and it will give you the option to pay for both.

Sure. No problem. Some people are only going for one day. A good friend of mine is only driving Sunday, and will pay at the track. He's comming up the evening before though to BBQ and toss back a few cold ones.

It would be nice to let Ken know you're thinking about comming,..but it's not necessary. Actually,...on some of the lower turn-out days, Ken has even allowed people to drive just a couple sessions and pay $25 per. Fine for Wterford I suppose,..but it's a bit of a hike to drive less than a full day at grattan.

    Hope to see you there.
