Opening up the mirror mount on F12

    I want to get at the wires inside the mirror mount. Taking a quick look I didn't see any obvious screws. I'm assuming it pops off somehow? Anyone have any tips on popping this off on the F12. I have a good handle on the hardwire electrons, but I don't want to damage this thing taking it off.

    Or is there a video somewhere?

    Find a parts diagram for the door. It will show you there. I would think the door panel would need to come off and you will find the bolts for the mirror in there

    Sorry, I mean the rear view mirror in the center. Damn, I must have been drinking some port when I wrote that ;)

    Not sure on new cars but 99.999 percent are glued on
