I just bought a 2016 Mecedes S550 with 12,500 miles. It has Pirelli Centuro P7 Run flats. The front are 245-45-R19, and read are 275-45-R19. One or two of the tires have a very annoying thumping noise, I think in the passenger front. I hate to replace one tire in four. I am considering replacing them all. If I do, I can't decide on Continental, Michelin, or last choice, stay with Pirelli.. I've had mixed luck with each brand over the years. Leaning toward Continental. Sure would appreciate your HELP. Thanks

Have you checked out tirerack.com for reviews and tests ..not sure what is there fir the specific tires you are looking for but may be worth a look

I have had goodyear pirelli and continental ...and continential seems to always be a good choice especially considering dollar value

For non run flat ..I look towards kumho as well

I was looking into a BMW 6 series Gran Coupe recently ... they come with run flats and generally owners seem to be a lot happier just putting conventional tires on the car and calling a flatbed if they get a flat -- not an unfamiliar scenario with a Ferrari, or even with a modern Porsche 911. Complaints about hard tires, road noise, bubbles in the sidewall and various other problems had me just budgeting an extra $1200 or so for a fresh set of Continentals or Michelins had I bought one.

I replaced my BMW 330XI continentals with Normal Grand Tour Goodyears and they are a world of difference. They are so comfortable and perform very well in snow. My son just drove through a 2ft snow storm yesterday and he just love the tires. We have AAA so we just get towed if we would get a flat. Run Flats suck.
