    Everyone,

I'm still looking for my first FCar, and, while I was looking at a GT4, I'm now considering a 328. I've found a decent example, but the car has had a completely new interior put in the car. Appears to be a very nice job, but its not the original color.

Does switching to a non-original interior effect the resale?

One point to consider if whether it is an original colour & style - if so then it should have no effect

Not to me... If someone had a silver car with, say, a blue or red interior, and they changed it to black, I think there would be MORE than enough potential buyers out there looking for a silver/black car who couldn't care less about "originality" - they just want that car, in those colors.

Probably not that much, if as noted it is proper pattern, etc.

BUT with everyone getting all jiggy these days about filing for the Factory Heritage Certificate, it will be immediately noted by future prospects if it varies from original......

So, go with what you like!

    Since we're sharing opinions...

In my mind, a Ferrari is a vehicle under the paint and under the interior dye. As long as irreversable changes have not been made (e.g., seats changed out without saving the originals), any color exterior or interior can be changed/restored. If resale value is the question, then the priorities are all different. If resale rules, buy a red/tan or red/black car. If YOU rule, buy any color car you please and enjoy it. ...and for $10k you can paint it and redye the interior, as desired, when desired.
