Mandalay, so you have and idea, I went with ext - Rosso Corsa / Nero interior with Giallo special stitching. Absolutely love the black with yellow contrast and the Ferrari red and yellow combination since I was a kid!

I did spec cf in the interior - Air vents, central bridge, driver zone and Daytona cf racing seats. I also went all cf on the exterior except for the engine components, rear boot trim and headlight buckets.

I do understand your point and the other members opinions regarding the ULEZ spec vs the normal headliner, so on Wednesday, after taking into consideration your input and visiting my dealer to look at the headliner fabric closely, I decided to pull the trigger on the ULEZ and SHF1 options. I do believe these are both options that deserve more exposure and awareness of, when configuring.

That Wednesday MODIS system was going through the end of month update, so he couldn't gain access to make the change, but luckily, on Thursday, my salesman was able to add them up at the very last minute as he confirmed early morning that he was able to add them - "just in time". I actually thought he added the "just in time" in the text to add a little emotion but, in the evening of the day after, on Friday, my app updated, now showing a picture of my car spec and my VIN #. This has me thinking of the possibility my car was already in 10R when he made the change as I do believe the app presents some delay. So, I'll trust in his abilities to had made that last minute change as he stated, maybe the car went 10R immediately afterwards or maybe he called Ferrari to make that last minute change immediately after hitting 10R! ‍♂️ We'll wait and see!! It's all part of the emotion this process brings upon.

Thank you all for your feedback!

Just checked and the options ULEZ and SHF1 have just made an appearance in my APP configuration options, they weren't appearing since they were added and it definitely had me a little nervous. I'm a happy man! Love this configuring experience! Done! Now, wait patiently through March! Happy holidays to all!

    Well done.

My car is Rosso Corsa Metalizato and Nero interior. I didnt like having red stitching. I wanted it to pop so went white stitching.

Im not a carbon guy. I prefer leather and all leather thats why I asked if you had carbon. I even optioned a full leather steering wheel but have Leds :)

Im sure you will appreciate the extra leather you selected. So ENJOY THE TRIP !

I see the beautiful effect of the metalizato, you definitely did your research when configuring!
I'm with you on the stitching, although it looks nice, I feel the red stitching gets lost with the nero interior. White stitching was an option I also considered but, for me, I really like the yellow and black contrast. Leather supports the elegant feel of the ferrari and it will always look nice.! The cf adds towards the sporty component - in a car like this, I look for a balanced mix of both. I'm looking forward to march! Thank you very much

This thread has caused me to question my decision to choose Alcantara over leather in a couple areas of the interior on my soon to be delivered F8 (headliner and racing seat inner trim). Once again, I did option leather for the rear wall.

Alcantara is also spectacular, some could even argue it's more appropriate for the headliner due to its textured surface, but that's a whole different thread. Lol

IMO, alcantara is a material which contributes towards that sporty presence of the car.... That's again, imo, in the end, it's going to depend on the character you envision your car to present and which trait do you want to dominate in it; sport vs elegant/classy.!

Alcantara is just as great as leather. Especially if there are other sections with it.

Its just that the OEM stuff is out of place on such a dear car.

You know your gonna love your car :)

Hi Marcos, I happen to come across your post here wherein your showing your headliner with yellow stiching. Is you car a spider becuase my SA says it's not an option and I find that hard to believe.
    thanks!

ULEZ is an option for Spiders. I selected that option for mine. However, I don’t have the stitching like you do in the coupes. My headliner is smooth leather.
