Very late model with very low miles, nice colors, heavily optioned, recently serviced and available from a highly respected dealer. What’s not to like? If a 6-speed Grigio spider tickles your fancy, I doubt you’ll find a better one. I’m an F1 coupe guy all the way but I think THAT’s a great car!

The price? I’m sure some “players” will descend soon to assure us the car is WAY overpriced. However, if the condition is really there I think it will be a while before you find that much car for less. Just my opinion…

The price does not seem off the mark. I bought an 04 360 Spider w/ similar mileage from Algar a few months ago (after alot of homework) and while you are not getting a bargain, you get what you pay for.

Incidentally, the guys at Algar gave terrific service.

BTW - make sure that all service is up to date. 04's should have their belt service done (that will probably start a debate in itself).

I think the price is fair given a no issue car...bought mine in Dec 07 for the same price with the virtually identical options at a Long Island dealer....It is true....you get what you pay for...

I sat in this car.. they said they would go to 150k just off the immediate convo I had with them..

BTW the soft top wasn't working properly when they tried to put it up for me.. other than that the car is LOADED in HOT in person.

The top works fine, and that car is priced very for what it has. I am pretty sure they would not take 150k for this car.

    Carnut,

upon putting the top up it refused to lock into place without assistance.. both times they tried it..

also.. upon my conversation they immediately went into the 150's before I even tried to haggle..

just my input. Maybe they fixed the top who knows I saw it a few weeks ago

I guess you are a very lucky guy since they own that car for more that. By the way the owner wanted me to ask you who quoted you that price.

Well, 150K and 'into the 150's' are two different things. Which is it?

Very common and normal for the soft top to need a push.
    Do a search and see.

I bought a 360 Spider from them and they are the best! Any followup calls were immediately returned and the level of service is second to none. The price is not bad at all, if it is in the 150's. As far as the top is concerned, the hydraulic fluid level may be low.

You seem a bit defensive here amigo..

    the convo went like this

    Rick -
    "this car is 165k"

    me -
"well it's a bit too high for me to get excited"

    Rick -
"well we want to move it so I'm sure we could do better than that.. 150something I would say"

    it went like that..

now if you want to get rick in trouble for throwing out a number that is up to you.. very nice guy rick is though.

Not meaning to sound defensive, but I have known these people for years, and it is not usual for them to lower a price on a car like the way you said it happened to you.
