Probably..... but it would improve joy of use....

The OEM brakes were marginal against the performance of the car, Forza covered the revisions Chris Parr made to his car extensively......

depends on what kind of buyer. the purist buyer will not be interested in this car. but for one who doesn't mind upgrades or actually seeks them out, this F40 would find a buyer and at a premium price.

Actually no, since those buyers are aware that most F40 buyers are looking for a garage queen and will bargain accordingly. What Michael needs is two of those guys to come along at once :) That said this price isn't far off.

It's all a moot point now. The car sold.

My car, similarly, has large intercoolers, which can be cooled by injected water; larger rotors, brakes and wheels and an improved suspension, also has that rear wing carbon "ledge", as well as a fire system and kinesis wheels (though F 50 wheels would fit I am told). I love it this way, it makes it unique and special to me. If you like the car that way, the price is very good as these improvements are worth at least 50 K....if you want the car as an investment, then a pure F40 would be the answer. If the original rotors, brakes, suspension, intercoolers etc are still available, buy them and stash them away. If I can find mine or NOS wheels intercoolers brakes, etc...I would buy them and have them if a future owner wants to have them and deems the value of the car is off without them.

This car is a gem, from the looks of it. I would jump at the opportunity to buy it.

Well stated. As long as the original parts are available with the car, and the car can be returned to stock, what is the problem???
