I’ve been bouncing around, bought a lovely vanquish, however really could do with some proper rear seats.

    any opinion on this?

It’s been for sale for an age, coming down in price, think it was circa £120 or 130k initially.

Love the spec and options! I'm not familiar with UK prices but it would equate to around $140K, which is kinda the going price for a 20K mile well-optioned FF. Some people might be put off by the mods, which would hurt instead of help resale value, especially for a Ferrari, where most owners like to keep them stock. Me personally, I would probably do most of those mods, so that's just bonus!

I'd drop the wheel spacers off, however the exhaust is a nice thing. No idea of the cost though, or if its a full system or bits of etc.

Price, mileage, specs are good. But whatever you do, have a PPI done so you know what’s the car true condition.

Mike, That guy has spent a lot on this FF and now is selling it ! The Novitec stuff alone could have been £15-20k. It has been tuned as well.
The colour is a lovely deep red, it is a 3/4 layer system and a nightmare to match, I look at that if you inspect. There is only one FF currently in the dealer network at the moment at £120k but that will have a 2-year warranty. There is a lot to go wrong on these cars..

The perfect spec. I bought an almost identical (but stock) this year with a Ferrari warranty from a private seller. I paid a similar price.

Personally, the video of the car on a dyno type machine put me off this car, but others might love that.

Mine is going up for sale shortly as I can't safely park the FF where I live in Central London. These are awesome cars though, and I am very unhappy about needing to sell. :(

It's an early car that's been modified and is a private sale.

That may put some people off, it may not bother others.

These cars have now reached a point in their life where it's all about condition and if it's the right one for you. Frankly at £100K what else comes close?

I will say one thing, they don't like being sat unused. I bought mine 11 months ago and I've just passed 10,000 miles in that time. It runs and drivers now far better than it did when I collected it. I had a few niggly things go wrong on mine in the first few months, nothing serious but all really brought to light through use. I've had all these ironed out with warranty, but come renewal I won't be bothering with warranty, I'm going to self insure.

So look at the the MOT history, if it's done 800 miles a year for 2 or 3 years and has effectively been unused, there will likely be a "recommissioning" period.

I value the exhaust, depending on which one it is. rolling road doesn't scare me, you could say atleast its been done properly.

I did test drive a lusso today. I can't see it being worth £70k more than a FF to me.

FWIW I'm trying to make mine quieter. The standard exhuast is loud enough (in fact it's perfect IMO) but for me has a drone when sitting in traffic (this is not about volume it's a frequnecy that makes the bodyshell vibrate and becomes very wearing/tiring in traffic and on long journeys). Unlike most owners my car is used as a daily driver and the issues I have only present themselves when you're in the car for extended periods of time 4-5 times a week.

If you want an F1 wail and this is a weekend car, that's a different matter. The exhaust maybe right up your street.

Like you I don't see the the uplift in value of the lusso. I was in one a couple of weeks ago, the interior tech is a big improvement over a standard FF. I just prefer the FF. I think even at the same price point now I'd still stick with my FF.

The Lusso I was in had a Novitec exhaust fitted, I didn't feel it was any louder than my FF with a standard exhaust and valves open, but the note was definitely different.

The Lusso is superior in terms of tech + F updated various mechanical elements. But the FF is a fantastic car, including its design (I love the Lusso but the FF talks louder to me). No need to buy a Lusso if your budget is not sufficient. The FF is stunning in every aspect (including handling, performances, …) and currently is the best value by far.

Spec is nice. I too have a rosso Maranello + cuoio FF and it’s stunning. The car doesn’t have a panoramic roof despite wha the ad says.

Novitec parts...took a year to make...and were made by RUF?

    What...?

Yup. I’ve heard over the years that Novitec don’t make their own exhausts. The production is outsourced.

    As for the OP on this choice of car;

I love the colour. Rosso Maranello is superb.

The semi-aniline leather is nice to have as it ages much better than normal painted leather (assuming, of course, that the advert is accurate given the mistake made about the pano roof).

    Nice to have options that the car is missing include;

    Painted calipers
    Lift
    Seat memory
    Seat heating
    Seat cooling
    Hi-power hifi.

I’m not sure that I’d want my FF to be any louder. I have a Supersports exhaust on my DB9 and I’m going to revert to the standard one.

lift and seat ventilation are nice options.

The idea of a Lusso is nice, but if you live anywhere me in Central London V12 Ferraris with keyless start of disappearing overnight to thieves. A Lusso was taken from a local underground public car park 500 metres from where I park my FF using a device to fool the keyless start. I’m not sure if it’s got anything to do with the data breach that Ferrari suffered this year?

Oh no I'm more intimately aware of Novitec's inner workings than most.

Fuchs make their Ferrari exhausts, not RUF. And they absolutely do not take a year to produce, at their absolute worst about 18 months ago you'd wait 10-12 weeks. Now it's more like 4-6 if they don't have it in stock.

    My pleasure!

Just thought it was odd that the guy had added those details which were obviously incorrect.
By all means tune your car and install a catless exhaust...but you don't have to say it took a year and was made by someone who didn't make it haha

Anyone on here thinking of selling?

There's a 'blue America' one thats just been listed, they'd sell at 100K with 18months ferrari warranty left.

I bought my FF (with Ferrari Warranty) from a private fellow UK poster on the FF thread on Pistonheads. The margin between this car and a similar car from a Ferrari dealer was about £15,000. The Ferrari warranty costs about £3,000 to renew so this worked well for me. The car had a full Ferrari service history.

I am in the process of doing a deal to sell the car in the same way.

I found that there is a clear private market place on forums like these for great cars with F Warranties.

Good luck with your search, these are special cars indeed.

Looks good to me. I bought mine in January this year and I'm delighted with it. Similar mileage to mine too. Mine has almost 2 year's warranty left. I also have a DB9 and the Ferrari has loads more room. Last weekend I travelled in the back and I'm 183cm, plenty of room and feels faster in the back!

I also have a DB9 alongside the FF and I have never, ever, been able to fit anyone in the back of the DB9!
