IMO Classic Itailian Design, wont get hot in the sun (the seats), however is just does not seem these color combos go over well in the USA market..hot as hell in Euro and others.. I think would have soften the Red up if the stitch and pipe were in Black, to pull off of the dash...AND why did they not have the piping on the headrests??
Great combination, I have seen many Japanese owners with the exact color scheme. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I love it. Unfortunately I probably wouldn't buy it because, as other's have said, harder to sell in the future.
Personally, I love white on the Gallardo. I am not really a fan however of the "pearl" or balloon white. I really like the plain "flat" white. That car would be well served with black seats piped in white. Someone find me an 04 G coupe in that color combo...
Not my personal choice, but nice. I would have gone with the standard white exterior with black interior (with white piping and stitching). Boring, I know, but I guess thats me. I also would have stuck with the coupe, or better yet the Superleggera. Just not a convertible fan. By the way, does anybody know what Lamborghini calls their standard (non-pearl non-metallic) white? The color I am referring to is the newest color available on the Superleggera. It was something like Bianco Mono........something.
I actually like it. Fairly classic color combo. I prefer the brighter red to the more subdued maroon-ish interior color too.
I agree. I'm a huge fan of White cars with red interier, but the white piping doesn't work with red seats. Otherwise this is one SMOKIN' Gallardo
I feel like I should be wearing Z Cavaricci's and watching Max Headroom on the TV. LOL Not really liking that combo; on a Countach I would, Gallardo not so much.
You forgot the Zodiac shoes to go with the Z Cavaricci's. Like everything but the white piping on the seats. Red int with black or white ext is smokin hot.
I think it looks better with a bit more black in the interior and with a roof... (L-Ohio pic I believe) Image Unavailable, Please Login
This colour combination is stuning, just like you asked me. Although I prefer yellow on Gallardo, this one blew me off. This is one of the best combinations I've seen. For me white piping is very well matched, although it would also look great with all red. For me this is the one of the best combos, but as you said, you US people have different taste Here is very similar baloon white with red seats (w.out white piping), with white stitching and grigio proteus with full red int. The standard non-metallic white is called Bianco Cygnus on the Gallardo coupe and spyder. I had a bianco cygnus coupe and replaced it with a bianco cygnus spyder. The flat white on the Superleggera is Bianco Monocerberus
The red would be great IF the doors are toned down, otherwise, IMHO it is too much red. The orange/blue interior is a great example of "toning it down".
I've owned both flat and pearl Gallardos (yellow in my case) and it is interesting to compare the two. The pearl colours are definitely more attractive and show off the shape of the car better. OTOH, the pearl requires you to be more careful due to the difficulty in repairing any damage whereas the flat colours (and regular metallics too I guess) are easily repaired, making them a more relaxing proposition to own. Hint: if buying a car with pearl paint, get a clear bra. It will save you a lot of heartache later.
