Did you by any chance save any of the old oil, for sending to a lab for analysis?

You can handle it. That year is not complicated.

Well, it appears that the OP decided not to keep this car as it is now on eBay. Buy it now price of $115.

CT doesn't offer titles on older vehicles. If he’s in a state that does he will need to register it before selling. Technically.

    Silly me….

I thought the OP was interested in owning a TR.

Turns out, the only ‘driver’ was money and taking advantage of the PO.
    He wanted free help.

With just 4 previous posts - I should have known better.

    Waste of time.

    Not again.

For $55k I would have bought it then enjoyed owning two TR. Do the belt service on both at the same time.

Business is business but if I was the original owner and found out I got taken for a quick turn 2x flip, I’d be a little pissed but then again, I have no idea what their agreement was

Well, to be fair to the OP, he may have been hoping for a quick flip going into it, but did take the risk that it wouldn't be that easy. Sounds like the owner needed out, quickly, and it ended up a win/win for both parties.

Still, a bittersweet ending for the actual Ferrari enthusiasts watching from the outside.
