    Hi,

    The Ferrari world is all new to me.

    I’m looking at a 488, January 2018 with 49.000km on the clock.

    The option list in the trunk is quite limited compared to others. But it has a lot of carbon inside (which I’ve seen mentioned on other cars).

    How does this work?

    That’s a high km low optioned car. price should reflect that. Carbon bits would have been added after sale by a subsequent owner if they are not listed on the personalisation plate.

    Interesting as it looks like you have the LED steering wheel but no option on the plate?

    not sure how they added that aftermarket?

    All the interior carbon fiber was added via the aftermarket. I did something similar with my 458. Purchased carbon fiber parts from MyRicambi for the cabin and engine bay. Looked OEM. With installation, it was very costly but it felt worth it to me at the time as I thought I was going to keep the car forever. I’ve also seen posts on FChat about adding the CF steering wheel. Apparently, not too difficult.

    If you are into carbon fiber, the previous owner did you a favor as the aftermarket pieces won’t add much if anything to the sale price.
