Anyone know how much the following options were on an 05' F430 spider: 1. "Aluminum Dashboard Inserts" 2. "Soft Top Color" was there an upgrade? The one I am looking at is simply a nero roof (luckily). I assume black was std, and matching interior color was the upgrade only? Thanks.
I think the aluminum dash pieces are standard. You will find most are CF. Black is standard roof for spider.
You could choose between aluminum and CF on the dash surrounds. There was no extra cost just like red or yellow tach faces. Personally, I prefer the aluminum and that's what I ordered, I think CF looks like plastic. Dave
Me too...they are on 430's here downunder as standard and I reckon the silvery look appears much better than the drab CF up top. Having said that I have the CF door sills and centre console which looks fabulous. Rob.
It's funny but I think the aluminum looks plastic. I know its metal but in most cars you see painted plastic to look like aluminum. So, I did CF. Everyone's different I suppose.
They both look plastic to me. My CF pieces seems to be making annoying buzzes. Maybe alum better in that respect?
Mine doesn't make any noises, and personally I like either one, this particular car just happens to have Aluminum.
