    After test driving a V-6, a Diesel, a Hybrid, and a "S",
I have ordered a Diesel for late November delivery.
It is a very impressive engine, no lag, very quiet, smooth, serious torque.

The Cayenne is very nice all around, I can see why Porsche sells so many.
The 911 will soon be for sale.

Why would you get rid of a 911 to buy a small SUV?

Interested in a diesel version myself, especially if I decide on a daily driver with towing capabilities.

While the 911 is a wonderful car, it is a PITA to drive around/in Houston.

Time for something better suited for driving around here.

Why...does Houston have poor roads? I use my 991s w/7mt as a daily driver in Atlanta traffic...7,xxx + miles in 3 months so far and it has to be the best DD I have ever owned. Plenty fast, very comfortable, great fuel economy, easy to park and lots of fun to drive. Why would I want to commute in anything else?

I sold my 997 last week :( Now I need to find an everyday car. I have been using my McLaren and F430, but it is a bit too much for everyday use at this point. I am going tomorrow to drive the Cayenne Diesel, or perhaps just get a Jeep Grand Cherokee like a certain St. Louis Native on here.

slum it with a Grand Cherokee!

I have to say, it's been rather nice driving a completely "incognito" (;)) car again. nobody notices yet another black mid-sized SUV.

btw you still owe me a ride in the McLaren :)

How about a Chris Harris half-tangent:

Gotta love the EU mileage cycle. 45mpg for this thing.

Great video, I imagine that he is using Imperial gallon mileage.
