Is anyone familiar with the Poltrona Frau leather option for the Quattroporte? Does anyone have any pics or a good description of the leather?
Also, I'm trying to special order a carbon fiber trim on my base Quattroporte, but salesman is unsure if this can be done, at the moment. Has anyone accomplished a special order like this before on a Maserati?

I have to confirm my order tomorrow, thanks.

Carbon fiber trim is unique to the Sport GT............cannot be ordered on other versions.

My understanding is that Poltona Frau already does the Maserati/Ferrari standard leather interiors. However, for the QP, there is a luxury package option that provides a softer leather which is tanned by a different process. My concern would be how long this type of leather would last before showing signs of wear and tear.

(my son started this thread for me) Thanks for the replies. Word from the factory is that they wont do the carbon fiber in a base QP. If i had placed the order today, it wouldnt get here till the end of june and i needed the car for a cross country trip by mid june. So maybe ill take a car from stock, but i really wanted the luxury leather option.

Also, there is another option to upgrade the headliner... I'm not sure what name they use for that.

Orders used to take 6-months - glad to see they are getting slightly more reasonable. I am not sure where you live but you should try some of the larger dealerships in NY or CA - some have many Q's on stock and you may get closer to your desired selection.

There is an Alcantara suede headliner. Also, 9 standard colors of Poltrona Frau leather available, and it is the finest leather in the world.
