The F8 OEM wheel choices just don't tickle my fancy. The carbon wheels are quite nice, but out of my budget. I'm thinking of not checking any boxes and simply getting the standard wheels and replacing them with another OEM Ferrari wheel having the exact same specifications. I love the forged wheels on my 488, and I am seriously considering installing them on the F8 when it arrives. Would this be a sacrilege to do so? Would I be stepping back in time? Might the F8 Corse Forged Wheels grow on me over time? Any and all suggestions appreciated!

    Thank you ..... VJ

Was in the same boat, ordered with standard wheels and put Pista wheels on the car after delivery.

Can you post pics? I’d love to see it. I’m thinking of doing the same. My Pista wheels are just sitting in the garage as I have some HRE’s on the Pista.

Same boat as well – so I ordered the standard wheels thinking I’d upgrade to the Pista wheels or HRE P101 or something else. I painted the standard wheels satin black and love ‘em (for now anyway :)

Pretty classic looking Ferrari 5-spoke, and I like how much brake they reveal. Maybe depends on your color preference though.

I will say, OP, that I don’t love the forged wheels in pics but when I see them in the flesh they aren’t bad. I’ll still order the base 5 spokes and replace them with my Pista wheels or something else but I don’t hate the forged wheel IRL as much as I thought I would.

That looks pretty killer. Is that Nero ds or Nero Daytona? I can’t decide which I want!!!! I can’t find many pics of them side by side and not sure one could tell a difference in a photo anyway.

Do you know how much you lowered the car and the spacers size you used? Want mine to look like this as well!

Daytona. Looks very black in low light, but in direct sunlight has a lot going on. Daytona is much easier to maintain and I'll be driving my car almost daily so no regrets. Pure black really looks amazing when freshly detailed though.

Not sure on lowering specs, I can get back to you with the spacer sizes. I'm actually going to raise the rear up a touch, I've had some scraping in the rear on bumpy roads. Smooth roads, no issues. The car handles and rides incredibly well, just a bit low for the roads I frequent.

I also went standard as I was not a fan of the pizza looking rims.

Get a set of Pista take-offs or just order a new set. Then sell the F8 sheels to offset the cost.

These wheels have definitely grown on me. I might've spec'd them if I was ordering now and not last year.

Same here, initially I didn’t like the forged wheels as much because of the asymmetry. The base wheels were too “skinny” with the spokes for me, too much open area. Was thinking about getting Pista wheels, which are nice but in some ways too understated looking. Then I realized that the forged wheels had become “the F8” wheel to me. Wound up ordering the diamond cut forged.
