Not sure what the upchArge is for alumino Opaco. Gotta check. I usually like paint on my cars but the matte is interesting Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I ordered a Portofino in Rossa Portofino in November. I was told the price of options are not out yet. Please let me know if you have seen an options price list. I checked off all the electronics except the passenger display which I do not need. I was told the first customer cars in they US won't arrive until late summer or early fall. Dealer demos will arrive in early summer.
There's a few good videos from the Frankfurt Motor Show of Rosso Portofino that should give you a good idea of how the color looks on the Porto. T
Thanks. I ordered in November. I love the color but did not expect it to be so expensive. Premium colors on the California were about 12,500. I ordered before any prices and realized my car will cost a bit more then I expected. I know I will still enjoy it.
Food for thought if I may: have you or anyone contemplated at some point Blu Abu Dhabi? IMHO, quite striking and an extremely versatile color that chances according not only with the ammount of sunlight, but also angle of sunlight. Also, quite an easy color for a person to choose a matching and elegant interior color configuration. Kind regards, Nuno.
I was convinced by Rossi Portofino colour which does look fantastic in person especially with diamond forged rims and black roof. However for city driving it’s quite in your face so I’m going for Grigio Titanio to be more subtle and I think really shows the beautiful lines of the car. No CF outside except wheel caps (better than yellow IMO) and inside wheel and central arch in CF. All leather black but matching grey stitching and Aluminium speedo. Calipers probably black or Aluminium. Magneride suspension and electric seats definitely. Aside from that debating what’s good. Probably need shields on fenders and headrests to resell, UV windscreen, dimming mirrors, rear camera for sure but not sure on front camera - does look ugly and is noticeable. Adaptive front lights? Sounds like factory stone chip protection isn’t good? Like to know what people think about the better stereo which is like £4k in UK...... Not doing any more CF, car play or passenger screen which all seem likely ultra expensive pointless options. For some fun putting in the extinguisher Thoughts/advice?
Is this going to be a daily driver? Or, once/twice per weekend fun car? If the latter, I'd forego the upgraded stereo and invest that in some other fun bits. I have electrochromatic mirrors in my Porsche, and that's a nice option if you will drive in the dark. By the way, as you are in the UK, do you really need the heat insulating wind screen? If you're interested in re-sell, some people say the LED steering wheel lights are a popular re-sell option...T
Once a week type thing. LED and CF wheel is definitely going on. Agreed on heat insulating lol. I’m an optimist! Only because some said it’s good for leather interior in limiting UV......
It kills the performance of any radar detector you put in the windscreen. You can get tinting that does the same aftermarket for less money and you can get them to leave a hole for the detector. I think the LED wheel is a must for resale and as someone who loves flooring the car at every opportunity, it's very useful.
^Good advice, as usual, from wrs. I had a product called Huper Optik installed on my 911. Does a great job in heat rejection here in toasty Texas (my 911 lives outside 24/7/365). It took a few days to get used to - I think it needs to anneal for a few days after installation. And, I've not noticed any interference with the radar detector - Escort Passport? - although I don't use the detector that often...T
Blue is high on my list but leaning towards Porto Rossi or titanio Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
If you want to keep the buying price down, I would do this: Argento Nurburgring (Silver) Side SF shields Front black chrome grid And no more: Low price and very good looking Ciao
So have fully specced my car last week. For those that care, key additions according to my dealership (one of the bigger Ferrari dealerships and used resellers in the world): Shields are a must (still can't believe how much they cost). Passenger Screen is a must for reselling. If you go CF wheel (recommended), you must go with CF driver zone (includes CF paddles and CF rev counter surround). Don't need the UV windscreen except in genuine hot climates (i.e. not UK). If you go colour stitching, you have to go with the special thick stitching as it looks better and thinner one frays more easily. Adaptive headlights are popular but not necessary, still have LEDs and solid front headlights. Sports exhaust is small but does look a lot better - recommended. Didn't even mention the stone chip wraps etc. Didn't bat an eyelid when I didn't spec any other CF on the car. Didn't care that wasn't red. Wasn't surprised didn't spec Apple Carplay or DVD. They are likely to introduce Daytona style seats as an option if you prefer that style. Thats pretty much it. My spec (for those that care) is Grigio Titanio incl. roof and A pillar, diamond forged rims, CF wheel caps, CF driver zone, aluminium rev counter, CF central bridge, passenger screen, thick grigio stitching incl. horses on headrest and floor mats, same grigio seat belts, rear camera, sports exhaust, dimming mirrors, high power hifi (unnecessary up-spec but I like my music). Forgot about the fire extinguisher, but I suspect it eats into the footwell so not recommended. UK standard has tracker, electric seats, split rear seats.
Nice spec - what lead time have you been given ? It feels like there'll be very few UK cars this side of Christmas given how late everywhere seems to be
I think first deliveries might make Q4 though I’m on for Q1/19. Sounds like order book is full through 2020+ so dealers desperately trying to get more to the UK.
The cost of the stone chip protection via Ferrari is at least 2 to 3 times what a after market professional would charge.Better to get it down after you get the car. Nice spec.
I have ordered mine in December here in Switzerland, expected delivery is September (hoping for 2 months of joy before the snow comes, not using it in winter). My specs are: Grigio Titanio w red calipers, Bordeaux int., light grey contrast stitching, magna, shields, black exhausts, passenger display, camera, apple, yellow rev... After delivery, I will foil the roof black and mount my black 21"/22" Novitec NF4 wheels which I had on my Cali T. My order is locked in and can't be changed anymore, I regret to have not chosen Rosso Corsa with Charcoal interior and red stitching. But the red inside with the black roof and rims should make it sporty in spite of the titanio.
I think your spec is very classy and that you will love it. I’m all over the charts for color. Maybe a blue, maybe another silver/gray, maybe white with Iroko... I have a while before the allocation gets here. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I am too. My order is this week and I am now going back and forth between the Blue TDF with Nero seats and yellow stitching vs Grigio Silverstone with Nero seats and Rosso stitching. Since this will be my daily was thinking the Grigio was more subtle but now I just don’t know.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I have seen the Blue live and it is an amazing color. Can be well combined with Iroko or Cioccolato inside with light-beige contrast-stitching.
I actually don’t like the car in Ferrari red weirdly. Looked odd live. Maybe it was the black roof. Grey and Blue look cool. Great to drive though! At least I like it - much more forward seating position than I expected - great road visibility. You really notice the 600bhp and carbon brakes! Am happy with my spec after seeing live. The pearl white also works as does Rosso Portofino IMO albeit the cost is massive. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app

See Photos. The only disadvantage to you would be the Florida heat which I know well from living in Miami Springs in the past. However, with your limited driving and using a windshield sun shade while parked, I think it would work for you. The former owner of my car loaded it down with about all the options as it listed for $290M 5 years ago. Response to the car at our C&C events (1250 attendee cars this past Sat.) is unbelievable as it really draws the crowds even when F40's and Enzos's are there. No matter what you order, it will still be a winner because it is an Fcar! Good luck and send us photos when you get it. Bud Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
