    Hello, I apologize in advanced for the weird question. Since I'm new to Ferrari and from the little I know it has a unique ordering process, can someone please help me understand the steps and milestones in ordering a new Ferrari (296 GTB) in California. Rough milestones, payments, customizing the car, markups (if any), etc.

    I, along with others in the forum, can only give you general answers. To get the best and most reliable information about the timing, availability and process of ordering a new 296GTB - you should visit your local Ferrari dealer.

    I believe all 296 allocations are already spoken for. If you want to start building a relationship with a dealer, find a used car that speaks to you and buy that. Then when allocations come up, you will have a chance at them.
