Up for sale is my recent original painting of a Ferrari Enzo on aluminum. It is not a print, it is a hand painted original piece of art. It is a 24" x 8" painting done on a .090 aluminum blank and encapsulated in UV resistant epoxy which is then clear coated with House of Kolors automotive urethane. The painting is done with House of Kolors and has amazing color saturation. To add to the depth I leave certain areas of the aluminum blank showing through. It has a 1/2" mounting plate on the back so that the painting "floats" on the wall. Due to the crystal clear top coat no expensive frame is need. Simply hang it up and enjoy. I can supply hi-res pics for review upon request. $500 (shipping included for the continental US) Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Incredible paint. Considered the absolute top of the line for custom work and airbrushing due to their intense saturated color spectrum that has mind-blowing depth. That said, I'd have them spray out a test panel to make sure the color is a dead on match to the factory color. HOK tends to look deeper, glassier and might not be a perfect match for OEM paint which is a little flat.
That's great. Where are you in Florida? If you aren't too far away I can bring it by and you can see it in person. Thanks!
House of Kolor was a local custom paint shop run by Jon Kosmoski. He developed an incredible pallet of paints that revolutionized custom painting. He sold the business to Valspar but still acts as spokesman and consultant. I see him frequently at car shows.
