Can someone with the original configuration/option show some detail photo's of the wheels? How does the center cap affix? are there any additional logo's or decals? etc.......

The metal centercap bearing the "Campagnolo" logo fits into a recessed portion at the center of the wheel. A flat expansion ring fits over the centercap and slides into grooves cut into the edges of the recessed area's inside diameter retaining the cap in place.

The rim has a 2 inch gold Campagnolo sticker with blue lettering, easily obtained from Parker.

Are you restoring the Campy's? If so, be careful of the textured surfaces from the casting as they are easy to smooth down and then they look too much like the Technomagnesio reproductions.

i wa strying to see what the specific differences were between the original and the more modern versions. as i expected, the original did have the rougher finish and the logo cast into the wheel.
