    So we're working on the interior and before I can even decide on color I need to figure out what the correct grain is so I can rule out some options. Here are three variations I received.

    definitely not the middle one.
    check out www.carinteriors.nl
    henk has all the original material. if you go with the tan 3218, he has the correct 3218 which looks antiqued. as i understand it, the antique 3218 was ferrari specific from connolly leather.

    then my vote goes for the tan on the lower left in picture. looks similar to my original interior in my daytona.
    the slightly grainier is in the door panel "inserts" on my car.

    I agree, the tan looks closest to what my old car had.

    Maybe UroTrash can chime in.

    I also have a leftover hunk of the leather, I'll see if I can get a good shot of it tomorrow.

    I've just been through this process with the restoration of 04054. You need Connolly Autolux hide which was the original factory fitted leather. You can get it from www.ukhide.co.uk

    I had the hides sent out to Luppi in Modena and had them retrim my seats and door cards in it. They are due back next week.

    Please post pictures of your interior parts from Luppi as I am thinking of doing the same with a spare set of seats I have. Luppi did another set of seats for me but with the modern leather which is not like the original.

    So here are my final two options. Both from Henke - HVL.
    The lighter is 3218 and the darker is 3228. Edward posted and believes strongly that 3218 is the closest. It feels pretty orange to me and was kind of leaning darker. Keep in mind, we're doing these as daytonas.

    More samples of 3218 from various sources. My main question is dots or no dots? See the example below to know what I mean. Anyone with original interior able to tell?

    Dots look wrong to me. I will try and take some pics of my original seat insert areas of 08468 tomorrow.
