Things like the original shift knob, instrument cluster dash (sticky), door trim panels, ect. Should I hold on to them or just sell them on ebay?

Some stuff is worth keeping if you ever want to sell and need to put back to stock. Some stuff is not worth keeping. Shift knob I would keep, depends on the condition of the other stuff....

If they are in decent condition they are worth being put in a tote in the garage/attic.

+3. John, keep it all. 348 interior coachwork has gone through the roof in terms of price, and it is getting hard to find all of a sudden -- very much like 328 items.

And another tip, for every single 348 brother? Put XPEL on your foglamps RIGHT NOW. Do not pass go, do not collect $200. Trust me, protect them now. Its not about how much they cost to replace, its about not even existing for much longer.

I have 1x passenger side here. A lucky Fchatter got 2x drivers side lamps a few weeks ago. From what I can tell, that's about all that's left as brand new in this hemisphere and F-UK/Italy. Probably some stashed away in various locales, but it'll get harder and harder to coax them out.

    Daniel,

What is XPEL, and where do you get it? Can it be shipped overseas? (hazardous liquid, or what?)

Also, are you saying there would be a market for someone to make duplicates/after-market versions of the fog lights? May I ask what you, in your experience, would estimate annual sales at? 5? 10?

    Thanks in advance, as always,

    Mike in Kuwait

    It is like this product:
    http://www.griotsgarage.com/product/headlight+shield+22%22+x+17%22.do?search=basic&keyword=10228&sortby=newArrivals&page=1

I have some of this stuff on my 348 front lamps, in amber... just because I'm a francophile and love fois gras.

PM if you want to discuss market size and the metaphysical certainty of where genuine 348 coachwork prices are headed.

One day you might end up selling the toy..............

The buyer might want all original parts.

All classic cars are more worth in original condition

    The conclusion is...........keep them

So, there are NO foglamps available?
And people wonder why others don't drive them :)

It would be my luck, the one day take the car out, I bust both :)

I can see it now.....My car will soon be a parts car worth 120k!!

Isn't there a law that states car manufacturers must make replacement parts for 15 years?

I remember hearing that. If that is the case, the 95 348 fog lights will fit the other years.
So, this makes the car (from last production date) 13 years old.

Can anyone shed a light on this topic?
I am sure there are quite a few 348 owners who will want to know the the facts..one of them is me
