    The latest addition to our classic car collection is a 1982 Ferrari 308 GTSi, a completely original car with very low mileage out of Southern California. Interesting history; 2 prominent previous owners from Beverly Hills and Santa Barbara. The car now resides in Toronto, Canada and will be cherished by it's new owner.

    Rare color combination for a 308 - Black on Tan. Mechanicals have never been opened, regular service always done by Ferrari of Beverly Hills... Low Mileage car, 36K

    Hope to take it too La Paloma in Woodbridge, Ontario, on Thursday night for its first showing at a Italian car night.

    After typing your text, hit the Manage Attachments then one of the "Browse" buttons, double click the picture to pull it off your hard drive but wait as the green scroll bar advances, before closing the window and hitting "Post"....

    My favorite color combination.

    Although if the mechanicals have never been opened it's hugely overdue for a valve adjustment and probably leaks like a BP well ...

    Congratulations !

    i've just successful convinced/advised a customer with a black '78 GTS to change from blk/blk to blk/tan as we restore his car.

    it's super 'Molto Italiano' and i've always loved my '78 400 in the same combo.

    +1. Not particularly rare though unless you're comparing to red. Somewhere on this site are the stats on numbers/colours.

    Bullfighter, I do not mean the engine has never been opened, just stating that only people who know what they are doing have been in it. The car has practically a brand new engine in it (Only 25K miles on it, it was replaced in 1982 after only 10K miles.... The new engine was installed by Beverly Hills Ferrari.) I have the complete history/service records for the car since 1982!
    A major service was done to the car just prior to me purchasing it. (The car doesn't drip a drop)

    I always wanted a Yellow on Black 308, but many others stated that the Black on Tan is the best colour combo. I am now convinced!

    I have tried attaching a pic again, I hope it works.

    Looks very nice.

    As others have said, not rare unless you compare it to red, but IMHO black blends all the 308 grilles, vents and bumpers perfectly.

    Here's our black&tan 1979 GTB in Oakland. Now upgrading to Nick Forza Ferrari Electromotive (no dizzy) ignition. CCCVIII is our Sunday driver (Hwy 1) South to Napenthe or North to Mendocino. This nice ride is made better with an excellent ignition. See you on the road.
