    I own a 1999 ferrari 550M which was factory fitted with an upmarket Alpine radio/cd player. I'm not sure if this was the standard fitment for 550's destined for the asian market. I'm looking to installhe more common ferrari branded sony radio/cassette with cd changer which was factory fitted for cars in europe and USA. anyone with such an unit for sale?

    I have the original Ferrari Becker radio model # 4377 and Factory CD changer with mounting bracket and three CD cassettes that I took out of my 2000 550.

    My 550 came with a front loading upmarket Alpine Radio/CD player. If I revert to the original Becker/Sony set with separate cd player and magazine holder will it be a hassle to install the player in the boot ie new wiring ? Will the carpets have to be removed during installation? I dont see any preinstalled wiring in the boot for the cd player.
