    Hey fellas,
Have an original TR tool kit in very nice condition. Got it with a bunch of other luggage and kits recently. Am keeping most of the collection, but selling few items. This is nice. Hard to find the taller TR tool bag. From what I am hearing in the technical board it's missing one tray and I have priced it accordingly. Very nice kit for sure. Happy to send more pictures upon request. Have seen complete kits sell for $1,500 - $1700. Am looking for $950 for this.
    Thanks

I need the following tools that are appropriate for the kit below:

    1 Ratchet (USAG)
    1 U-joint (USAG)
    1 13 mm wrench (KRAVM)
    1 Light bulb, halogen
    1 light bulb, common one

I am well aware, that the description is rather vague, but still have not I.D.'d the tool kit.

The reason..., is I was ripped off by an ........, and questionable mongrel / here on F-chat.

By now most are aware who this character is, and that will never admit to his pathetic little deals.
You can see the parts in question in the below photos.

    Thank you!

I did, but was deleted, as unfortunately, unawares, I posted his mailing address, as the kit was badly packaged with it on a piece of box.

Nevertheless, if the moderators will allow it, I will post it, as actually, he OWES me the deficient parts. Rings a bell Ara?

Fully agree with you. Moops as him, ought to be avoided like the plague.

    Regards, Alberto

    Hi Alberto,

I believe that tool set you are showing is most likely a late 348 model.

you are only missing the case and canister for the fix a flat shown in the photo I attached in the upper left area.

So I think you are very close to having a complete item.

this was very similar to a 355 tool set but that one did not come with the ratchet / socket set. Otherwise you can see many are also very similar. These are easy to confuse so I’d find your missing item on eBay and then enjoy.

Remember Ferrari (and their dealers) often swapped tool sets mid model and sometimes just grabbed what was available to go in the cars. Most US owners never used the tool kits ever and even kept them when trading in or selling the cars leaving the car without one at all. Not all buyers even cared back then…

That’s why in some cases former owners may know what the tool kit came out of or was supposed to go in. Have a good week.

    Robb

    Alberto -

If you have an issue with a seller, you can make your complaint privately or publicly. But if you choose to do so publicly do so only on the original seller thread. This is because we don't want users to spread their complaints all over the forum to try and get outsized attention for their complaints.

This means that threads that are deemed to violate this policy will be deleted or merged to the relevant seller thread. The original seller thread is the most relevant for airing your issues and for interested parties to get the entire story.

If you still want a "wanted" ad, then simply repost your ad, but leave the complaints to this thread.

Return it and buy a full and proper 348 toolkit. Unless he refunds you half the money you'll never come out ahead.
The missing canister is visible in the ad pics.

    Hello Yin,

Thank you very much for your reply. The only reason I posted it 'all over', is because the seller
is not what you or I would deem a 'correct' seller.

He does not reply, answer, or otherwise belly up to his responsibilities.
    Thus, my acting.
    I appreciate your creative observations.

    Kind regards,
    Alberto

Thank you for the comments Robb!

A Home Depot ratchet is not a Ferrari dealer substitution, as is a lacking wrench.
The packaging is also an issue, as things were just tossed in.

I will post the replies Ara sent me on the ratchet and on the wrench, etc.?
Then, you can be the judge about the correct or incorrect dealings.
HE ought to be correct and enjoy himself on e-bay...

    Have a great week too!

    Regards,
    Alberto

I think an update is necessary, as I may have overreacted, and I am enough of a man to know when to admit issues.

Just spoke with Ara, very polite and understanding, and he assured me he would make good on the parts that were wrong /damaged
in a "prudent amount of time".

To be perfectly clear, and no confusion / misunderstandings:

    1. Proper USAG ratchet
    1. Proper USAG U-Joint
    1. Proper 13 mm wrench (missing from kit)
    1. halogen light bulb.
    1. regular bulb
Thank you very much Ara for your goodwill!

    Kind regards,
    Alberto

Wow, a tool kit. I asked for guidance on identifying it from the forum members on this site. I get insight from this community. I send detailed pics of the entire kit to buyer. Buyer wants it, at a reduced price. I happily oblige. The courier unfortunately damages a bulb in transit. Was disappointed to say the least with the threats during our call. I think the prudent thing to do is to have you send it back for a refund. I have bought items from you for Pete's sake Alberto, so your response was a shock to say the least. No worries at all. I have impeccable feedback on a lot of transactions with the members, including mods. I was on a business trip for 10 days when you apparently received the item, so my lack of IMMEDIATE response would be understandable to a calm-headed buyer. I stand behind everything I have, so send it back and let me privately how you'd like the refund. Thanks.

Thank you Ara, you can send me a refund the same manner I paid you.

We all buy items from each other, and at times, we do badly.
The issue is to make good. I am glad you have been my client, it is / was reciprocal.

When I receive the refund, I will send the toolcase back.
Friends again, and let bygones be bygones?

    Kind regards,
    Alberto

PS. I do not threaten, I act, and am extremely coolheaded. Living through a Civil War taught me a few lessons.
